Business Arising from Minutes:
Terry advised that Christopher Whittaker’s bike had broken down in the Northern Territory but that he still intended to complete the proposed ride. Terry also advised that there was now interest in setting up a Chapter in Western Australia (WMMA) which would be run similar to the VMMA In Victoria.
Terry had done calculations regarding our financial liability to the MMAA National Body regarding unpaid dues. Terry advised that their financial year was 1st October to 30th September to line up with the AGM held in January, but he would just send the $5.00 per head which is accurate for the MMAA VIC books.

“That upon receipt of monies owing from the MMAA National Body ($2,085.85), a cheque be sent to same totally $605.00 which represents a $5.00 sustentation fee per member per year for period 1/7/02 to 30/6/07.”

Treasurers Report:
Terry advised a current bank balance of $1,070.06 with a cheque outstanding from MMAA National Body of $2,085.85 which would give a total at bank of $3,155.91 when received.
No accounts were outstanding for payment other than the $605.00 due to be paid to the National Body.
Terry advised that $424.00 had been raised for the Community Connections Program, less expenses leaving $212.00 profit. Terry also advised that 79 Pentium PC’s had been given out, some including full internet packages. Terry currently had 8 computers at home ready to go to deserving families.
