AGM
Terry advised that Ian Voerman would call an Annual General Meeting for some time in July 2005.
INCORPORATION
It was generally discussed that the MMAA Victorian Chapter being incorporated was creating far too much accountability and reporting than was really necessary for our “club” It was unanimously accepted that action be taken to dissolve the incorporated body and that we operate under the same name and in the same manner as we have to date, This would also negate the need for so many administrative duties and meetings, other than our normal social get-together’s and rides.
Moved: Terry
Seconded: Greg
“That the MMAA (Victoria Chapter) dissolve the “incorporation” status of said body and commence the process which would comprise paying all debts owed and forwarding surplus funds to the MMAA National body.”

“That Terry Webster be nominated to take charge of dissolving the “incorporation” status of the MMAA (Victoria) Chapter.”

New Business:
Terry advised new Tasmanian member Mike Bradford and some other membership enquiries, still to be actioned.
Terry advised he had been negotiating with WebProphets, on behalf of the MMAA (Victoria), to provide free “dial ups” and computers to local community organisations which would also result in a positive way of promoting Freemasonry in the local community. He advised that WebProphets were also willing to offer discounted dial-up and ADSL services for all Freemasons in Victoria.
Terry advised that the Freemasons Task Force had so far procured 10 computers for the MMAA (VIC) “Community Connection” Project and MasonsConnect will assist by ensuring they are made suitable for their intended functions..
Terry also confirmed that he would approach MasonsConnect to assist in contacting Lodges to donate (perhaps) one nights raffle funds to help contribute to the funds for computers to go out to the community organisations, or, a one-off donation of $100. He asked all Masonic members to promote directions of funds to MasonsConnect and not MMAA (VIC). Details of the “Community Connection” project will be laid out in a letter that Terry will send to each Victorian Lodge during this month.
Next Meeting:
The next meeting of the MMAA (Victoria) would be the Annual General Meeting set for some time in July.
There being no further business the meeting closed at 12.30pm
